Supports the IT Help Desk by investigating and resolving complex computer software and hardware issues for Raymond&s;s internal PC users. Provides Personal Computer (PC) technical support and answers Help Desk phones. Answers questions by applying knowledge of computer software, hardware and procedures. Has an in-depth understanding of and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures within the field. Requires an extensive knowledge of computer and peripheral equipment, network and PC operating systems

  • Customer Service focus in a corporate environment

  • Experience with Active Directory and providing Remote assistance

  • Follows procedures, policies, and guidelines for most decisions. Required to bring questions/concerns to attention of supervisor and modify procedures as directed.

  • Responds, troubleshoots and resolves complex PC issues in a timely manner.

  • n
  • Completes a detailed description of each resolution for co-workers to reference when similar problems arise.

  • Performs software and hardware upgrades as requested.

  • n
  • Configures new PCs with the appropriate software. Provides the user with orientation when the PC is delivered.

  • Trains and provides guidance to end-users on network/systems capabilities.

  • Tests, monitors and repairs equipment as required. Provides input on new equipment requirements.

  • Maintains contact with outside organizations regarding the maintenance and service of PC and related equipment.

  • Maintains inventory of spare parts/units/software.

  • n
  • Remains current with industry standards through internal and external training programs.

Salary:
$15.14 - $23.54Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
